PALO VERDE NATIONAL PARK TOUR (TEMPISQUE RIVER)
It has at least 12 different habitats within the park including mangroves, swamps, saltwater and freshwater lagoons and marshes.
In this tour you will go through two antique villages: Bolson and Ortega, then into the Tempisque River, the most important river of Guanacaste to take a boat adventure.
The park provides shelter for a great variety of birds such as the American Woodstock, the Roseate Spoonbill, the Boat-billed Heron, the Tiger Heron and the Tropical Kingbird.

RINCON DE LA VIEJA NATIONAL PARK TOUR
This National Park extends over 14,083 hectares of semi-deciduous forest and a very moist forest and includes a barren rocky terrain at altitudes that range from 650 meters To 1916 meters above the sea level. Fumaroles, hot mud pools and the eerie steam holes of Las Pailas create an amazing landscape.
This is a hiking tour that takes about an hour and 45 minutes to get to La Cangreja waterfall which is 65 meters high.
The tour not only provides the opportunity to appreciate Rincon de la Vieja's geothermal wonders, it also allows a close view of an ancient forest with huge trees.

ARENAL VOLCANO AND TABACON HOT SPRINGS TOUR
Arenal volcano is a perfect cone that has been active since 1968. It's loud rumblings and frequent explosions of lava and ash that creates a light show.
On your way there, you will ride through the heavenly landscape of Arenal Lake, an artificial lake that provides water for the hydroelectric energy and for irrigation in the low lands of Guanacaste during the dry season.
You will experience the sultry hot springs of the Tabacon Spa.
At night, the glow of flowing lava can be seen from several points in the area (if it is not cloudy). During the tour is possible to see toucans, iguanas, oropendolas, and monkeys.

COROBICI RIVER FLOATING TOUR (CLASS I-II)
Corobici River is the perfect place to enjoy nature for its beautiful scenery. The tour is two hours on a rubber boat. Down the river you will see trees like Ceiba, Mahogany and Guanacaste bordered by tropical dry forest. During the journey, some of the animals you may see are exotic birds, Jesus Christ lizards and monkeys. Highly recommended for birdwatchers.

BUENA VISTA COMBO
In this tour you will enjoy the primary forest on a different way: trails built up on top of the trees. A small hike takes you to the first platform, from there, you start swinging to the other 10 platforms, which are connected by cables from 50 to 135 meters long.
During the canopy that last almost 2 hours, you will have the opportunity to observe the surrounding forest from a new perspective.
Then you will enjoy the water slide, which is an artificial slide with natural waters from the river that slide you down for 400 meters. This is defiantly something very different. The water slide is open on top, from where you can feel the fresh air from the forest. At the end, you will finish on a pool.
After having lunch at the lodge, we start the second part of the tour:
Horseback riding to the thermal waters, steam bath and natural spa, located at the foot of Rincon de la Vieja Volcano. Here, you will enjoy the treatments with volcanic mud and sulfurous waters. On your way there you will experience a transitional forest (between dry and rain), where you might be able to see monkeys, squirrels and a variety of butterflies and birds.

CONGO TRAIL CANOPY TOUR
Only 45 minutes far from your hotel, we arrive at the place, where a tropical dry forest and its high trees are surrounded the area. Once we get there, the tour guide will get you ready for the ride of your life. You will be at the first platform, ready for instructions to start flying down the suspended cables. There are a total of 17 platforms.
During the tour, if you are lucky, it is possible to see Howler monkeys, iguanas, or beautiful birds.

COLORADO RIVER RAFTING CLASS III
This is definitely a fun tour. Located 1:20 hours away from the hotel, this clean river comes from the Rincon de la Vieja National Park. It is a narrow river with a nice canyon, originated from old lava. The tour is on rubber boats for 2 people, with very exiting slides, and time to swim.
The tour last 1:30 hours, and after that you will get a typical meal for lunch.

What to bring: Rubber sandals Teva-style, sunscreen, bathing suite, and a change of clothes in case if you do not bring bathing suit, you will get totally wet. Waterproof camera.
