Summary : 7-night Itinerary
Day1
Upon your arrival into St. Thomas, please check in at the Tropic Tours counter before claiming your luggage to arrange your transfer to your hotel. When you reach your hotel enjoy a welcome drink and go for a swim in the tranquil waters of the Caribbean. Check with the hotel guest services desk or Tropic Tour Representative to see what's available to do and see during your week in St Thomas.
Day2
Awake and indulge in a leisurely breakfast at your hotel. Maybe you want to take in an aerobics class or enjoy a game of tennis. Your resort has many attractions - watersports, parasailing, health clubs, and live entertainment are just a few of the amenities you can enjoy thoughout the week.
Day3
The Danish West Indies became the US Virgin Islands in 1917, purchased from Denmark for $25 million. The primary interest was to have a naval station in these strategically placed islands. Once Cuba was closed to tourism, the Virgin Islands became a prime tourist destination. Learn more about the history and highlights of the island by going on a 3-hour island tour. Experienced guides pick you up at your hotel and show you breathtaking Magens Bay, Charolette Amalie (the capitol), and other highlights.
Day4
Grab your snorkeling gear and picnic lunch and spend the day at Coki Point Beach. You can get there by taxi or you can rent a car. Swim at Magen Bay on the north coast side of the island is a magical experience - it's considered one of the top ten beaches in the world. Whatever your pleasure is tonight, taxis are readily available to take you to the restaurant of your choice. All you have to do is decide: French, Mexican, Polynesian, Oriental or Middle Eastern?
Day5
An option for today is to take a tour that includes an early morning scenic drive to the East End of St. Thomas where you embark on a short ferry ride to Cruz Bay in St. John, where half of the island is the National Park - magnificent, pristine beauty. With lunch and snorkeling included on this escorted tour all you need to bring is your bathing suit, a towel, sunscreen and a camera.
All hotels provide nightly entertainment, so you can dance the night away to the local sounds of the Virgin Islands when you return!
Day6
Another popular excursion takes you to St. Croix and includes a 3-hour glass bottom boat or catamaran trip to Buck Island Reef National Monument. Snorkeling and refreshments are included.
Tonight enjoy the sunset from Charlotte Amalie. Make a reservation for dinner at The Agave Terrace, an open air dining room in a cliffside setting with breathtaking views of the sea. Fresh local seafood is their specialty and live steel bands perform weekly.
Day7
Why not take one last picture of paradise? In Charolette Amalie you'll find Paradise Point atop Flag Hill. This is one of the best scenic vantage points on the island. Day 8
Day8
Spend a last few minutes relaxing on the beach reading that novel you packed. Try to capture that sense of relaxation you want to take home with you. After checking out, you'll be transferred from your hotel to the airport for your return flight home.
